A stepwell, the world's tallest statue and a royal palace
Your driver meets the group in Ahmedabad for an afternoon at Sabarmati Ashram, the City Museum and the Hutheesing Jain Temple, then Adalaj’s stepwell and Akshardham by evening light. Day two is all about the Statue of Unity: the viewing gallery, Sardar Sarovar Dam, the gardens, the jungle safari park and the light and sound show. Day three stops at Vadodara’s Laxmi Vilas Palace, Sayaji Baug and museum before the drop.
Three winter weekend batches in a private AC vehicle, with the Statue of Unity day always kept off Mondays, when the site is closed.

- Arrive at Ahmedabad airport or railway station and transfer to the hotel to check in, then set out on the city tour.
- Visit Gandhi's Sabarmati Ashram, the City Museum and the carved marble Hutheesing Jain Temple in the old city.
- Evening at Adalaj's five-storey stepwell and the Akshardham temple, lit up after dark, before the night in Ahmedabad.

- Breakfast and check-out, then the drive to Kevadiya for the Statue of Unity, the world's tallest statue at 182 metres.
- Ride up to the viewing gallery in Sardar Patel's chest, then see Sardar Sarovar Dam and the butterfly and cactus gardens.
- Afternoon at the jungle safari park, then the evening light and sound show projected on the statue before the night in Kevadiya.

Best time to visit
November to February is the best time for this trip: days sit around 15–30°C and evenings at Kevadiya are cool. The Statue of Unity and Akshardham both close on Mondays, so batches avoid them.

Fly into Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport, Ahmedabad, with direct flights from Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Kolkata.
By rail
Ahmedabad Junction is a major hub, with Rajdhani, Shatabdi, Vande Bharat and express trains from Mumbai, Delhi and most metros.
By road
Ahmedabad sits on NH48, about eight hours from Mumbai; Kevadiya is roughly 200 km or four hours south-east.
