01 — The trip
Misty peaks, roaring waterfalls and coffee in Odisha's highlands
Your trip captain meets the group off the overnight train at Koraput. Day one visits Sabara Srikhetra, the hilltop Jagannath temple, then Rani Duduma waterfall and the Balda caves, returning through the town’s quiet pine forest. Day two climbs towards Deomali, Odisha’s highest peak, via coffee gardens, Patraput bridge and Gupteswar’s cave shrine, ending in Jeypore. Day three crosses into Bastar for the thundering Chitrakote Falls before the station drop.
Three short weekend batches after the monsoon, when Koraput’s waterfalls run full, the hills turn green and the mornings stay cool and misty.
